Ok, our annual AGAR food show at Gillette Stadium is this Wednesday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. We are so excited for this one for so many reasons. Ideas for Lent 2011 Season

Today starts the season of Lent. For many, this is a time of giving up items and temptations including types of foods and other activities.

This is also a time when many refrain from eating meats, starting with Ash Wednesday. Since this goes on for 40 days, we have many solutions for restaurant operators and retail operations including our very popular brand of seafood, Nautifish.

I recently had a chance to speak with our seafood specialist James LeDuc about what AGAR and Nautifish have to offer, all the great options an operator can use during the season of Lent and we also talked about some of the great specials on seafood this wholesale food distributor has this coming month.

New Ideas For St. Patrick’s Day

We all love to be Irish this month whether we are or not. Especially in Boston, we have a great respect for the holiday. We love to enjoy our Guinness or other beverages that help us celebrate and we love our traditional dishes including corned beef and cabbage. But there’s always a new twist on an old favorite and there’s nothing wrong with creating your own dish and possibly a new tradition.
