AGAR’s April Food Show: “Green Profits”

AGAR the largest independent food distributor in New England will host their 10th annual food show on April 1 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. This year’s show will focus on “green” initiatives for the restaurant and foodservice industry. More and more restaurant operators are looking for and demanding green and sustainable products to help them combat the rise in energy and food costs so there will be many of AGAR’s vendors featuring the latest in these products. There will be close to 250 vendors at the AGAR Food Show.

From “green” packaging to other sustainable products such as the launch of Nautifish (Stay Tuned), AGAR customers and others looking to AGAR for their food distribution needs, there is something for everyone here.

Some of the “Green” Solutions being displayed will include:

Green Restaurant Association: The GRA helps restaurants and its customers become more environmentally sustainable in ways that are convenient and cost-effective. They will be at the AGAR Food Show to help customers with ideas for going green and staying profitable at the same time.

GreenWave Biodegradable Products: These products made for restaurant take out are made of health conscious natural fiber, such as sugarcane, grass and reed plasma. Green Wave products are biodegradable in water, soil, and compostable material.

Greenware products made by Fabri-Kal are made entirely from plant material. They are crystal clear and have the look have a clear plastic cut but are in fact, biodegradable.

AGAR customers are still profitable during these tough times so take the time to stop by the show from 10:00am- 5:00pm and find out how… For more information or to RSVP, please call: (800) 669-6040 x5011 or e-mail:
